Josh Heywood is the Executive Assistant to the Maricopa County Recorder, Steven Richer and Rey Valenzuela is the Executive Director of Mail-in Voting.
AAA Petition Please bring any completed signature sheets that are notarized to the meeting Saturday. LWVAZ would like to get an updated count of signatures collected. In January, we had collected 1,000 of the 10,000 signature goal. If you would like to collect signatures, you can pick up materials at one of our NWMC Hubs. Contact Tina Mollica: 623-326-1952 or Lois Hansen: 623-335-9738. We will also have materials available at the member meeting Saturday.
All petition gatherers should review the LWVAZ Petition Gathering Training and read the AAA Petitions: DOs & DONTs List. Additional live signature gathering training sessions will be posted on Mobilize https://www.mobilize.us/hcra/.
Join the League to support the Arizona for Abortion Access ballot initiative for abortion rights. Together, we can qualify and pass an initiative to ensure that the Arizona constitution guarantees women the right to decide what happens to their bodies. Let’s let Arizona voters decide.
