You Make a Difference Award

WHAT IS IT?

The YMAD Award is presented every year to an outstanding member of our local League. Traditionally, the award selection team, headed by last year’s winner, selects a winner from nominations from League members.  A winner is chosen for the positive difference they made in both the community and the League through their outstanding work in supporting the purpose of the League to provide factual information to our citizens regarding issues that affect their lives.  The YMAD award inaugural year was 2000. It is specific to our League and member driven. It is unique in that a member can only receive this honor once.
