Empowering our Voices with AZ Legislative Request to Speak (RTS)

  • Overview of Arizona state legislative process

  • Review of how to use RTS online to respond to current bills

  • Hands on training on setting up and signing into your  RTS account

  • Hands on training on using your RTS account

Join us for an informative presentation on how to impact bills during the current 2024 Legislative session. As members, our input is vitally needed to respond to bills identified by the Arizona LWV in line with our current state positions. Arizona allows citizens a powerful tool in RTS to be able respond directly online to bills while in committee hearings. This can impact whether they will be passed out of committee or not and whether it will be advanced to be voted on by the respective legislative chambers.

If you have not requested a RTS account please complete the google form here: https://forms.gle/rpCFJoCX3BAFBC4BA

and a LWVAZ Advocacy member will set up an account for you at the Capitol. You will then receive an email with a temporary password which you can change when you create your RTS account on AZleg.gov.  We encourage everyone to bring a laptop or tablet to be able to participate and/or receive assistance with your RTS account.
